I-77 North Fast Lane Back Open After High Water

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The West Virginia Department of Highways says the fast lane of I-77 in Charleston is back open.

This is at Greenbrier Street.

The northbound lanes had been closed due to high water.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Interstate 77 North is closed near the Greenbrier Street exit late Wednesday night because of high water, according to the Charleston Police Department.

Motorists are urged to avoid that area, which is near the 99-mile marker and the state Capitol. All northbound lanes are reported closed.
