Increased DUI Patrols Lead to Arrests

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Increased DUI patrols on New Year's led to several arrests in Kanawha County.

Deputies tell WSAZ.com, they made four DUI arrests late Tuesday into early Wednesday morning.

Another driver was taken into custody for driving on a revoked license because of a prior DUI.

Deputies made about 100 traffic stops overnight during their DUI patrols.

Charleston Police say they made six DUI arrests overnight. They also arrested two people for driving on a revoked license because of a prior DUI.
