KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Kanawha County Schools officials are looking for economic solutions after a failed $24 million excess levy.
School board officials said their options include charging students to play sports and even cutting summer school.
School Board President Pete Thaw said the board is not going to sacrifice education for money. He said the board has made no decisions yet, but they plan to continue discussing options at their next meeting.
