Kitchen Fire Damages Home in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A home was damaged by a fire in Charleston.

It happened about 10 a.m. on Pansy Drive.

Firefighters say the fire started in the kitchen. They were able to keep the fire from spreading to other parts of the house.

There is no word on what started the fire.

The family who lives in the home was inside at the time, but were able to get out safely.
