NEW INFO: Truck Spills Thousands of Pounds of Coal

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A busy intersection in Logan County is back open after a coal truck crash.

Police say the truck lost control and rolled over at the intersection of Route 44 and 73 in Logan.

Thousands of pounds of coal were spilled on to the roadway. It took crews several hours to clear the roadway.

Everything is back open at this hour.

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) --The Logan County Sheriff's Department is investigating an accident at the intersection of Routes 44 and 73.

A coal truck overturned shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday.

A Logan County 911 dispatcher told no one was injured in the crash.

The dispatcher said one lane is closed at the intersection and wasn't sure when it would reopen.
