NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man accused of threatening to shoot someone in a movie theater has been arrested, and it turns out he's no stranger to sheriff's deputies.
Tod Austin Ingram, 52, of Cross Lanes is being charged with a felony of making terroristic threats.
Witnesses told deputies that Ingram was being loud, disruptive and arguing with people during a movie at the Great Escape Theater in Nitro, W.Va.
When one man asked him to be quiet, Ingram said he had a gun and threatened to shoot him. He also threatened to fight him in the parking lot.
This happened just before 9:00 p.m. Friday.
When deputies searched Ingram, no guns were found.
Deputies say when Ingram was arrested and escorted from the theater, customers broke out into applause.
In the past, Ingram has also been arrested and convicted of driving under the influence and domestic violence charges.
