Charleston Man Facing Charges after Running Over His Wife

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charleston Police have finished investigating an incident that happened last Saturday in the South Hills area of Charleston.

According to the criminal complaint, Estill Jones was trying to leave after an argument with his wife, Sarah Rubincan, when he hit her with his vehicle.

Police say Rubincan was standing in front of the truck, trying to stop Jones from leaving, when she climbed onto the side of the truck as Jones drove away.

Rubincan asked Jones to stop, then lost her grip and fell off of the pick up truck, according to the complaint.

Police have charge Jones with malicious wounding.

Rubincan is still in the hospital with several serious injuries.
