Man Charged with Nighttime Burglary in Charleston Break-in

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly breaking into a home in the 800 block of Elk Drive in Charleston in late August -- reportedly ending up in an 11-year-old girl's bedroom, according to information from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.

Kenneth Ray Cochran was charged with nighttime burglary.

The 11-year-old girl told deputies a man was in her bed. She said she ran from the room and yelled for her parents.

Following his arrest Wednesday, Cochran was taken to the South Central Regional Jail. His bond was set at $25,000.
