DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was armed at gunpoint early Monday morning, and another man is wanted in connection with the incident, according to information from Dunbar Police.
It happened about 12:45 a.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Charles Avenue.
Police say the victim bought something at the Go-Mart along 16th Street and was followed by another man. He followed the victim west on Charles Avenue and approached him in the area of 19th Street and Charles Avenue. The assailant reportedly placed a silver pistol to the victim's neck and demanded his wallet.
The suspect took the wallet and a small amount of cash and ran north in an alley. Police say the victim and suspect do not know one another.
The suspect was caught on surveillance video at the Go-Mart. He is described as 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 180 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was wearing an oversize white T-shirt, blue jeans and a brown fitted hat.
