Man Arrested in Charleston Burglaries

A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a recent string of burglaries in the South Hills area of Charleston.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a recent string of burglaries in the South Hills area of the city, Charleston Police say.

Thomas Lloyd Burton, 24, of 1505 Longridge Road, Charleston, is being charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of breaking and entering. Further charges could be forthcoming.

Burton is charged with burglaries at 1501 Longridge Road and 1601 Longridge Road.

Stolen items have been recovered from Burton’s home.

Burton was expected to be arraigned later Tuesday night.
