CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- A Mingo County assistant prosecutor is the newest member of the House of Delegates.

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin appointed Justin Marcum on Monday to the vacancy left by fellow Democrat Steve Kominar.
