ELKVIEW, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One man is arrested on marijuana charges after being pulled over for a traffic violation.

After pulling over a speeding vehicle that crossed the center line and had defective back lights, Deputy B.K. Howery of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office smelled alcohol on the driver's breath.

As the driver, Donald Russell Falls, 35, of Walgrove Road, got out of his car to perform sobriety tests, a baggie containing marijuana fell out.

The bag was seized and the car was searched resulting in the seizure of six more bags.

In total, the marijuana weighed more than 50 grams and is estimated to cost more than $500.

Falls was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He was taken to South Central Regional Jail to await arraignment.
