Person Claims to be Hit by Car in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man claims he was hit by a car along Corridor G in Charleston.

He told police that the accident happened at 4 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Emerald Road.

The man didn't call for help until about 9 a.m. Charleston Police say the man did have some cuts to his head.

He says the driver of the car who hit him drove off.

Charleston Police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A person has been hit by a car along Corridor G in Charleston.

Dispatchers say the person's car broke down near the intersection of Emerald Road about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

The person was hit by a passing car and received minor injuries.

The driver of the other car did not stop. Charleston Police are searching for that driver.
