Police Chase Ends in Arrest in Kanawha County

CHESAPEAKE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man is under arrest after leading police on a chase.

Metro 911 tells WSAZ.com it happened just before midnight Saturday in Chesapeake, W.Va.

Police tried to pull over the car as it traveled through town but the driver took off. Dispatchers say the driver ran off the road on the curve on Route 94 in Kanawha County.

Dispatchers say the chase lasted about two minutes but they did not know what sparked the chase.

No injuries were reported. Chesapeake Police are handling the case.
