Police: Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Park

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police say a man was robbed at gunpoint while walking through a park on the city's East End.

They say it happened in Living Aids Memorial Park on Elizabeth Street just before 11 p.m.

Officers tell WSAZ.com the suspect approached the man and asked for a dollar.

As he pulled out his wallet, police say the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded everything.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
