UPDATE 3/23/12 @ 6:30 p.m.
DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Three people are in custody after an armed robbery at the Roxalana Hills apartment complex in Dunbar.

Police say about 9 p.m. Thursday, a man was walking out of the building when he says three men came up to him, held several guns to his head and restrained him with zip ties, then stole his wallet and car keys.

A few hours later, Nitro police officers arrested the men after spotting their car.

The victim tells WSAZ.com he had never seen the men before.

"They tie my hands. The cop last night, he cut the tie for me," victim Phong Chu So said. "The one guy held my neck right away and put a gun to me. He made me to go inside. Another guy held my mouth. He don't let me make no noise. Another guy put a gun to my back, too. Two guns.”

The men told Phong to open the door to his apartment. He refused because his wife and young son were inside.

"It’s my life. If I die I don't mind, but I don't want no one to hurt my son," Phong said.

Dunbar Police Chief Earl Whittington described what happened next.

"The suspects then seeing they were having a problem with the victim fled the area," Whittington said. "One of them was driving a red dodge charger, a newer model. The two others then fled on foot."

Less than five hours later, the men Phong identified as his attackers were in handcuffs -- all because a neighbor had noticed their car and told police.

Keith Glenn, Brandon Davis and Darrell Gillespie all were arraigned Friday morning.

Police are still looking into why Phong became their target. However, Phong has his own theory.

"I drive a good car. They think I've got money. They think I've got money, but I put it in the bank. I don't put in my home," Phong said.

Now he's taking extra steps to keep his family safe.

The case is still under investigation. Whittington says this was an isolated incident.

All three suspects’ preliminary hearings are set for April 2.
