UPDATE: Reaching Kanawha County 911 in Case of an Emergency

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The issue affecting landline users calling Metro 911 has been resolved, the agency says.

Anyone with an emergency may call Metro 911 from either a landline or a cell phone.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Anyone who has difficulty reaching Metro 911 by landline is urged to use a cell phone, according to information released Wednesday night from the agency.

Metro 911 has received reports from people throughout Kanawha County experiencing problems reaching 911 from landline phones.

The agency is working with Frontier to fix the problem.
