Three Hurt in Rollover Crash on I-77 in Charleston

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One lane of I-77 South is back open after a rollover crash/

The accident was reported about 1:30 p.m. Friday near the Belle exit.

Kanawha County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the vehicle rolled over, went through the guardrail and landed on the bank of the Kanawha River.

Emergency crews say trees along the riverbank stopped the vehicle from going into the water.

Three people were trapped inside the car, but dispatchers say they have been removed from the vehicle. They were taken to the hospital. Their injuries do not appear life threatening.

The vehicle has a Michigan license plate.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash where a vehicle has rolled over on Interstate 77.

The accident was reported about 1:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 77 near the Belle exit.

Kanawha County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com there is at least one person still trapped in the vehicle.

Right now, at least one southbound lane is closed near the Belle exit.
