CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Salvation Army in Charleston is opening it's doors for a warm place to stay as the temperature drops.
The facility at 301 Tennessee Avenue is open to the community as an emergency cold weather shelter.
According to a press release, city officials requested that men, women and children have a place to go to get out of the cold, sleep in a warm bed, and have food provided by The Salvation Army Charleston Area Command.
