PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) --A group gathered in Scott Depot Saturday to search for a man who has been missing for nearly one month.

Chris Brian Sexton, 23, was last seen October 14. Witnessed told deputies he left a party alone, but has not been seen or heard from since.

“It's been too long,” Sexton’s aunt Karen Turley told WSAZ.com.

Those involved in the search went into abandoned homes, searched nearby railroad tracks and a creek.

Charleston neighbor Donna Thomas helped with the search though she says she does not know the family.

“If it'd be my child I'd want someone out there helping me too,” Thomas said.

Sexton’s grandmother tells WSAZ.com nothing was found Saturday that could shed light on Sexton’s disappearance.

The group also plans to search the Eleanor area of Putnam County Sunday.
