KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The case against a man charged with shooting another man twice in the arm and the head is now headed to the grand jury.
Terrance Brown sat and listened in a Kanwaha County courtroom as the victim in the case testified Tuesday.
Jason Flester, who was shot twice, said he and Brown got into an argument on May 27 along Staunton Avenue in South Charleston.
Flester testified that Brown went across the street, got something, and when he returned he had a gun.
That is when, according to the testimony, he opened fire.
"I got hit as I was running in my backdoor, in my head and in my arm, and that is whenever I started crawling and he started firing down the side of my house," Flester told a judge.
Brown asked the judge to reduce his bond. The request was denied.
The case now goes to a Kanawha County grand jury.
