KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A stabbing trial in Kanawha County has been delayed.
Kerry Harvey is charged with stabbing her ex-boyfriend, Gary Turpin, in the chest, and Turnpin's new girlfriend in the back.
The stabbings happened in August 2013, at a home on Rugby Street.
Monday, Harvey's attorneys told the judge a psychologist found Harvey suffered from battered woman syndrome at the time of the stabbings. The judge granted the prosecution's request to hire a psychologist to check into the report.
The trial is now set for September 15.
