Stabbing Suspect Sentenced in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man who admitted to stabbing a teenager at the Transit Mall in downtown Charleston will spend time in prison.

Geoffrey Joyce was sentenced on Thursday to two to 10 years in prison.

He pleaded guilty last week to malicious wounding.

Police say Joyce got into a fight with a couple of teenagers in September and he ended up stabbing one of them in the hand.
