KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A man wanted in connection with a meth lab was found hiding underneath a bed.
West Virginia State Police say they went to at a home on Hope Lane in Kanawha County Saturday night concerning a tip about a possible meth lab.
Troopers say during a search of the home they found a shake-and-bake meth lab in the garage.
State Police arrested Dewey R. Wickline, 56, and Forest N. Goldburg, 22, at the home.
They say a third man took off before he could be arrested. K-9 units were called in and found James E. Tidwell, 30, hiding under a bed.
The three men face a slew of charges including: attempting to operate a clandestine meth lab, conspiracy and child neglect.
Troopers also say three children under the age of six were in the house.
