CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A teenager has been charged in connection with a deadly accident.
Dustin Burkhardt, 19, of London, West Virginia was indicted by a grand jury this week in Kanawha County.
He has been charged with DUI Causing Death in connection with a crash that happened about midnight on the night of July 25 in the 5200 block of Hughes Creek Road.
Investigators say Burkhardt was driving when he veered off the road, hit a telephone pole and hit several fences before coming to a stop in front of a house.
Alcohol and speed were believed to be factors in the crash.
16-year-old Riverside High School student Colin Qualls died in the accident.
Four others were injured.
