Teenager Hurt in Car Wreck in Whittaker

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police say alcohol may have played a role in a car crash in the Whittaker area of Kanawha County.

It happened about 5 a.m. Monday on Paint Creek Road. Officers say the driver was a 19-year-old man who lost control of his car and slid off the road.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His name has not been released.

The road was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
