Three Car Accident Sends One Person to Hospital

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One person has been taken to the hospital following a three car accident on I-64 West.

It happened about 6:40 Saturday morning a mile West of the St. Albans exit near the Kanawha/Putnam line.

Dispatchers say one lane of traffic was closed but has since reopened.

A pickup truck involved in the wreck had a snow plow and salt spreader. The spreader was damaged in the crash.

It's still unclear what caused the crash.
