Eastbound Lanes of I-64 East Reopen After Crash

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- All lanes of I-64 East have re-opened near Institute after a tractor trailer jack-knifed Thursday evening.

The crash happened just after 5 p.m.

Metro 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the tractor trailer jack-knifed and took out 200 feet of guardrail.

Diesel fuel had also spilled.

No word on injuries.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two lanes of I-64 East have re-opened near Institute after a tractor trailer jack-knifed Thursday evening.

One lane remains closed.

The crash happened just after 5 p.m.

Metro 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the tractor trailer jack-knifed and took out 200 feet of guardrail.

Diesel fuel has also been spilled.

A spokesperson for the Division of Highways is asking people to stay off the emergency lanes because it is delaying crews getting to the scene of the accident

No word on injuries.
