KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A tractor trailer flipped along a busy interstate, spilling fuel and sending the driver to the hospital, according to Metro 911.

Dispatchers tell the crash happened about 7 a.m. Sunday along Interstate 77 South in Kanawha County.

Dispatchers say the tractor trailer was headed southbound near Cabin Creek when it rolled over and went over the barrier, closing several lanes.

It's unclear how badly the driver was hurt. The person was rushed to CAMC General in Charleston.

Cleanup crews quickly took care of at least 250 gallons of diesel fuel that spilled on the roadway.

The interstate reopened a short time later.
