UPDATE: Two People Arrested on Meth-Related Charges in St. Albans

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The names of a man and woman arrested Friday on meth-related charges have been released.

Wallace Lee Jackson, 36, of St. Albans, and Shannon Lynn Goodall, 37, of Nitro, both are charged with attempting to operate a meth lab.

The pair was stopped about 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of MacCorkle Avenue.

The suspects were arrested after police received tips about them buying items to make meth.

Meth-making materials were found in the car after a search warrant was executed.

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people were arrested Friday evening after they purchased ingredients to make meth, St. Albans Police say.

Officers received a tip about the suspects buying items like acetone and cold medicine.

Then, about 7:30 p.m. Friday, an officer spotted a car on MacCorkle Avenue and pulled the driver over. The officer discovered the precursors to meth production and arrested the two people in the car after executing a search.

Police say the two people facing charges are well known to them.
