CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The campaigns are coming to an end, and West Virginia’s candidates for governor are making their final stops.

"You know, we went from one end of the state to the other and put on a very positive campaign and I think we've done all we can do, feel very good about the campaign going in to election day tomorrow," said Democratic candidate Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin.

"I've been to five victory centers in the last 5 days, it seems like," Republican candidate Bill Maloney said. "A lot of people making calls and get out to vote and we all win. It's going to be a good day tomorrow."

Maloney was wrapping things up in Charleston on Monday night.

"I tell you, it's energizing," he said. "You get around groups like this -- they can't wear me out, I'll miss it. Last year was kind of a down, but we lost. But this year's going to be good. We feel real good about things."

Tomblin made his final stop in Logan.

"It's been truly a great experience," he said. "I look forward to tomorrow being over with so we can get back in and start moving West Virginia forward."

And with polls closing on Tuesday night, the candidates made one final plea.

"We can take our country and our state back," Maloney said. "We just got to get everybody out to vote and really change the face of our nation."

"We've got a lot more work to do, and that's what I intend to do for the next four years with the people's blessing," Tomblin said.
