CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Elementary schools in West Virginia next year will participate in a study of a new digital math program.

Beginning in August 2014, California-based SRI International will study student progress in more than 50 second-grade and fifth-grade math classes that will use the fully digital curriculum.

School systems in Marion and Cabell counties already are using it.
