CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Thousands of people have lost refrigerators full of food during the power outages, and the Governor of West Virginia wants to help those in need.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin will be having a food drive Tuesday at the State Capitol. The drive is set to start at 5 p.m.
You are asked to bring non-perishable foods to the drop off location.
The food will the be sent to the Mountaineer and Huntington Food Banks -- and will be distributed to families in need as quickly as possible.
