CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A father and son pleaded not guilty Wednesday in a baseball bat beating that sent two people to the hospital.
Charles and Kenneth Woodson were in Kanawha County Circuit Court Wednesday to be arraigned on the charges.
They are charged with malicious wounding for a fight back in November 2011 along Madison Street. The father and son duo got into a fight with Andrew Watson.
Watson was hit several times with a baseball bat and police say Jillian Hagelin tried to step in a stop the fight. That is when she was hit in the head.
Charles Woodson is out of jail on bond. His son Kenneth is being held in lieu of a $75,000 cash bond.
Both men are scheduled to go on trial June 5.

Kenneth Woodson was arrested and charged with malicious wounding on Thursday morning.
Police say Woodson, and his father Charles, got into a fight with Andrew Watson outside of a home on Madison Avenue on Monday.
Watson was hit several times with a baseball bat and police say Jillian Hagelin tried to step in a stop the fight. That is when she was hit in the head.
Kenneth's father, Charles, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the attack.
Kenneth was also charged with domestic battery after police say he hit his girlfriend in the face several times.

The alleged crime happened on Charleston's west side.
Charleston Police tell WSAZ.com Kenneth Woodson, or better known as K.C., got into a fight with Andrew Watson, 26, of Charleston, outside of a home along Madison Street.
Investigators say when the fight got heated Woodson went in to the house and got a baseball bat and then beat Watson with the bat. Jillian Hagelin, 26, of Cedar Grove, tried to stop Watson and was then struck with the bat, according to police.
Charleston Police say they have warrants issued from the arrest of Charles Woodson, 59, of Charleston and Kenneth Woodson, 19, of Charleston in connection with the case.
Watson and Hagelin were taken to CAMC General. Police say their condition is unknown at this time.
