KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Water testing for the chemical MCHM is over in the Kanawha Valley for the first time since the chemical spill on Jan. 9 that contaminated the water supply for several thousand people in parts of nine West Virginia counties.

The U.S. National Guard took their last samples from a fire hydrant in the Queen Shoals area of Kanawha County on Monday night.

All tests have shown non-detectable levels of MCHM in the water.
