CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A well-known West Side restaurant was burglarized Tuesday night.
The West Side location of Mi Cocina De Amor was hit by burglars for the second time.
Owner Frank Gonzales says thieves took the restaurant's entire stock of liquor, as well as frozen shrimp -- items he says together were valued at at least $1,000.
The burglars came in through a back metal door that they pried open, according to investigators.
This is the second theft at the restaurant in the past two months.
The first break-in happened in July. Several cases of liquor and an iPad were stolen from the store during that break-in.
In that case, the thieves broke in through a different back door. Gonzales has since replaced it with a cement wall.
Charleston Police say they have no leads or suspects at this time in either case.
