Woman Hit by Car while Walking in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A late morning walk ended with a trip to the hospital for a woman in Charleston.

Police say the woman was crossing the street at the intersection of Deleware Avenue and Randolph Street about 11:30 a.m.

A car was making a turn, when the woman was hit.

The woman was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she is expected to be okay.
