Woman's Body Found near St. Albans; Three Young Kids in CPS Custody

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman's body was found Monday along Miracle Drive near St. Albans, and three young kids were found in the apartment, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.

Linda Thornton, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.

While Thornton's death is being treated as an overdose, the three kids are in the care of Child Protective Services.

The kids are ages 5, 3, and 5 months.
