The case of one of the last people charged with torturing a woman in Logan County is moving forward this week.
Friday George Messer gave up his right to a preliminary hearing in Logan County.
Now, Messer's case will head directly to the grand jury.
So far, five of the six suspects, including Messer.. have already waived the right to a preliminary hearing.
The charges against all of the suspects were upgraded last week to include a kidnapping charge. That carries a life sentence.

It's really a shame that in this day and age that people still have a problem with race. Do we not all bleed the same color blood? Do we all not answer to one person in the end? How would you want to be judged when your time come? I would be happy to be remembered fore something great. Now, whats going to happen when these people go to jail is what J. dahmer got only i dont think that it will end in their death. Did they really think that they werent going to be found out? Did they not think what would happen when they got cought? They had to know that the crime that they did would have alot of blacks madder than hell and you know that blacks answer to most things are to fight because they have been fighting all of their life one way or the other. I am happy that they got caught and very sad about what happened to the young lady...and for those that think nothing of it...it could have easily had been your daughter. Grow up people, stop hating because of the color of ones skin.
