The West Virginia State Police busted up an alleged meth lab Tuesday night on Neace Road in Charleston. The bust happened around 5:30 p.m. Troopers say they acted on confidential information that a meth lab was operational at the home of Bobby and Katrina Smith.

Troopers say they found iodine, a gas chamber, several match books, heat sources, scales and other items used in the production of meth. Several pets found at the home went to the Kanawha Charleston Humane Association.

The State Police arrested Bobby Smith, Katrina Smith, Brian Smith and Ashly Campbell. They are all charged with operating a clandestine meth lab and conspiracy to operate a meth lab.

STAY OUT OF MATTERS THAT DONT CONCERN YOU AND FOR "BOBBY" STAY STRONG FOR FOR ALL YOUR FAMILY THEY NEED YOU IT WILL BE ROUGH FOR A WHILE BUT THINGS HAVE A WAY OF TURNING AROUND AND FINALY "FAMILY" 1000% ON THE MONEY MEDIA IS THE DEVIL ALLS THEY WANT IS A HEADLINE NO MATTER WHO GETS HURT

I would just like to comment that there are several innocent victims caught up in all of this. As a matter of fact, a couple of innocent folks went to jail who had no business being sent there. The media has sensationalized much of this and many people are making decisions without knowing the entire story. Whether via poor choices, just being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or simply a victim due to personal association as a friend or family member, MANY people are affected by this story. I just wish the media would have all of their facts straight and share those facts, rather than just trying to sell a paper or get the most viewers. As for the comments coming from "anyone worth anything", let's please not name call and make assumptions; there's enough of that going around already. Life is about choices & everyone is responsible for their own. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone touched by this.

ALTHOUGH I AM SURE NEITHER OF THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS CAME FROM ANYONE WORTH ANYTHING, HOWEVER, I WOULD LIKE TO ASSURE EVERYONE THAT THIS FAMILY IS AS STRONG, IF NOT STRONGER, THAN ANY. THEY WILL MAKE IT THROUGH THIS BECAUSE THATS WHAT FAMILIES DO, BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER. ALSO, IM SURE THE PREVIOUS COMMENTORS HAVE NO IDEA OF THE LIFE THAT THE "TWO OLDER SIBLINGS" ARE LIVING, SO HE OR SHE SHOULD DO A TAD MORE RESEARCH BEFORE COMMENTING. THIS FAMILY CARES FOR EACH OTHER AND WITH A LOVE THIS STRONG AND THE LORD WILLING EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT ALRIGHT.

I know this family as well. And although their "circumstances" are certainly self-imposed, I hardly think it's something worth celebrating. A very dear friend of mine used to be married to Bobby and the best thing she ever did was divorce him and provide their two children with a loving and secure environment. Unlike the older two Smith siblings, the younger two are OUTSTANDING young adults and although not directly related to any of these horrible incidents, they are victims of their father's bad choices. Taking into consideration they may very well read these comments, I ask that you refrain from celebrating too much and remember to say a prayer for them as they, unfortunately, must deal with his bad choices. They are embarrassed, humiliated, confused and hurt. So by all means, celebrate that justice is getting served ... but please don't forget the innocent victims. They're stuggling to make sense of all this and certainly don't feel like celebrating. God bless them.

I cannot think of any group of people more deserving to have their names on the news than this poor excuse of a family. I hope justice will be served and while they are hopefully rotting in jail they will have time to think of the lives they have destroyed. If they are "lucky" enough to avoid jail maybe they can get real jobs so my tax dollars can quit supporting them. Trust me I am not being judgemental. I know these people and finding out they had been arrested was cause for celebration!!!!!!
