I watch the news every day...but for some reason I've missed this one. Is there an AMBER ALERT out for this girl. And if this young lady has left on her own. I hope she calls her parents and let them know if she's OK.

pictures of these girls would have been very useful! no matter if the parents were mentioned. the parents should know what is going on with the kids.

Whoever thinks that parents can completely control their kids and ALWAYS know where they are is riduculous. For one thing, being given privileges such as going someplace without the parents accompanying them is a part of life. And, with that very situation, the kid could have the opportunity to do whatever. You trust your kids and hope that you have taught them well if confronted with such a situation. Where in this story does it say the parents weren't responsible? Personally, I think that if you have three girls, you are going to learn soon enough. This is no one's fault and it is the acts of typical young teenagers. If anything, it may be the act of teenagers whose parents do supervise them alot and they rebelled.

I am the parent of three teenage daughters, that I have raised primarily by myself. How is it that many parents are not aware of what their children are doing or about their friends? It is my opinion, that a parent is responsible for what their children do until they are considered adults and make it a priority to know their friends. There are so many unbelievable things that people will do today. All of us hear it on the news and see it everyday. If parents think this type of thing cannot happen to them, think again. I certainly hope these girls are brought home safe and sound.
