ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio -- Two people were killed in a crash in Athens County on Thursday.
The Ohio Highway Patrols says 75-year-old Larry Jarvis of Logan and 79-year- old Donald Stepleton of Pickerington died in the accident on U-S 33 south of Nelsonville.
Jarvis and Stepleton were passengers in the car that was hit. The driver of that car and another passenger were injured.
Troopers say the crash happened when a 17-year-old driver pulled out in front of the victim’s car at the intersection of US. 33 and New Floodwood Road.
The teen driver and a teenage passenger suffered minor injuries.
The Highway Patrol is investigating for possible charges.
