UPDATE 2/12/12 @ 2:05 p.m.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Construction is underway as the Charleston Town Center Mall looks toward its 30th anniversary.

The mall has started to install its new flooring near Starbucks. That's also where construction is underway on two news stores.

Earlier this month, the mall announced White House Black Market, COACH, Sephora and Francesca's Collections will all open in spring 2012.

The floor is a ceramic tile that will be positioned in a random pattern placement throughout the mall.

The new stores will open between April and June 1.

Construction on the other two stories will begin soon.

This construction is just part of the mall's plan of expansive renovation, incorporating aesthetic updates to both the interior and exterior of the property. The updates will include new lighting, new flooring, family restrooms and revitalized common areas.

UPDATE @ 2/6/12 @ 10:30 a.m.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Four new stores are joining the Charleston Town Center Mall.

During a news conference Monday, the mall announced White House Black Market, COACH, Sephora and Francesca's Collections will all open in spring 2012.

Last month WSAZ.com first reported COACH was opening at the mall.

"The addition of these upscale retailers will create a premier clustering of women's apparel and accessories at Charleston Town Center. We are excited to welcome these new retailers, many a first for West Virginia," said Tom Bird, General Manager of Charleston Town Center.

Bird also announced during the news conference that the mall will undergo an expansive renovation, incorporating aesthetic updates to both the interior and exterior of the property.

The updates will include new lighting, new flooring, family restrooms and revitalized common areas.

Bird would not release how much the renovations will cost until the final numbers are calculated.

The mall expects construction to begin in the next month. The renovations will be completed prior to the mall's 30th anniversary in 2013.

This will be the first Coach and Francesca's retail locations in West Virginia.
