Man Arrested for 7th DUI

An Ironton man is behind bars this morning, and police say he's no stranger to the charges.

The Ohio Highway Patrol arrested 35-year old Jason Preston late Wednesday night following an accident on State Route 243.

Preston was charged with DUI. Troopers say its second offense in the last six years, and his 7th offense lifetime.

Officers also charged him with driving on a suspended license from the previous charge.

They say he has two prior felony OVI arrests making this arrest a felony as well

Preston is in the Lawrence County Jail. He is scheduled to be in court Friday morning
