JACKSON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- An elderly woman has died following a two-vehicle crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the accident happened Thursday morning on U.S. 35 near Dixon Run Road.
They say an SUV hit a car driven by Roger Johnson, 77. He was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital to be treated for his injuries. A passenger in the car, Mary Johnson, 77, was also taken to the hospital where she later died.
The driver of the SUV and her daughter were taken to a local hospital where they were treated and released.
The crash is under investigation.
