One in three American women dies of heart disease. In fact, almost twice as many women died of cardiovascular disease (both heart disease and stroke) than from all cancers combined.

King¹s Daughters recently introduced an on-line quiz targeted to area middle and high school students that helps raise awareness about heart disease, our nation¹s number one killer.

The 22-question Healthy Heart Quiz, available throughout February at kdmc.com, is designed to engage area teenagers in learning about cardiovascular health.

Participants who answer 18 or more questions correctly are eligible to win an iPod® Nano + Sports Kit.

Winners will be contacted via e-mail Monday, March 3.
