BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (AP) - Four teens were killed and one was injured Saturday when their vehicle lost control and struck a tree.

According to Upshur County Chief Sheriff's Deputy M.R. Kelley, the four teens killed in the crash were 18-year-old Hannah Laurel Browning of Rock Cave and Buckhannon residents 17-year-old Anna Rae Wamsley, 19-year-old Lindsey Jenell Rose, and 18-year-old Shasta T. Rutledge-Andrick.

Their 2004 Ford F-150 pick-up truck struck a tree.

Kelley would not identify the surviving 17-year-old female, who was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for treatment. She was reported to be in stable condition late Sunday.

The incident occurred on Gaines Road at approximately 4:31 p.m. Sunday and remains under investigation.

Some of the victims were students at Buckhannon-Upshur High School.

All schools in the county will operate on a two-hour delay to give students some time to grieve.
