SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police in South Charleston are asking for the public's help to catch two people they say cashed at least one fake payroll check.

The department has named the woman and man in the pictures below two of Charleston's Most Wanted.

According to detectives, the suspects went to Will's Jewelry and Pawn on MacCorkle Avenue -- and the woman cashed a fake payroll check for Mullens Electric.

It was for more than $600 and happened in 2007.

Investigators say there have been other reports of the same fake checks being used in the area.

Police need your help to identify and catch these two people.

Call Detective P.C. Rader at the South Charleston Police Department at (304) 744-6903 if you have any information about the man or woman in these pictures

I'm really surprised that these people are on the Most Wanted List, i mean come on lets get real, what are they going to do with them when they catch them....NOTHING> Just like Carter County. My boyfriend worked for a guy and the guy wrote him two bad payroll checks and he cashed them not knowing that they were going to bounce, now this was in 06,the checks bounced over 1000.00, and who was left to make the checks good? We were!! We have since then filed all the necessary paperwork and still they haven't arrested the man that wrote the checks. They know where he lives, I mean come on Grayson isn't that big...But still to this day we are trying to get justice.. I suppose in a country where there isn't any justice anymore. This is nonsense Carter County get off your butts and look for these people with outstanding warrants. I'll buy you a dozen doughnuts if you do!!!!!!

I saw a couple tonight that looked exactly like them at Mallory's Grocery Store on Spring Hill Mtn. It was 3:00 am and they was sitting outside on the sidewalk we stopped to ask them if they needed help and they said no and both of them looked like these suspects. Might be worth looking into the area!

On the plus side, at least this couple looks somewhat intelligent...and fit also classy; with excellent haircuts. They almost resemble grad school professors......def would have fooled me

THE SAD THING ABOUT THIS IS IF THEY WOULD USE ALL THE TIME AND ENERGY THEY PUT INTO BEING CRIMINALS TO LOOK FOR A JOB. THEY WOULDN'T BE IN THE SITUATION THERE IN. THEY BOTH LOOK OLDER YOU WOULD THINK BY KNOW THEY WOULD KNOW NOTHING IS FREE YOU HAVE TO WORK IN ORDER TO MAKE MONEY. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES
