HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The price of gasoline continues to rise ahead of the summer driving season.

Drivers in Kentucky are paying considerably less. The average price in the Bluegrass is $3.27 a gallon. That’s still up nine cents from last month and 56 cents from last April.
In Ohio the average price is $3.23 a gallon, which is up seven cents from last month and up 49 cents from a year ago.
Nationally the average price for a gallon of unleaded is $3.33 a gallon, which is up 13 cents from last month and up 57 cents from April 2007.
Experts say the average price of gasoline could hit $4 a gallon by summer.

HAVE BEEN RECEIVING EMAILS THAT IF WE STOP BUYING FROM EXXON AND MOBIL WHICH ARE THE TRUE CAUSE OF HIGH PRICES THAT COST OF GAS HAS TO GO DOWN..THEY JUST LAUGH AT US WHEN WE DONT BUY FOR DAY OR WEEK..LETS FIND OUT WHOSE GAS STATIONS USE IT AND JUST NOT GO THERE FOR A MONTH
all i know is my husband drives almost 500 miles a week, and with gas prices the way they are it is breaking us up! i know i am not alone, but, i think it is all ridiculus....we are taxed to death by uncle sam, our county, and every other which way they can get it from us....i say it is time for a break in it all.....before we all go BROKE.....
The gas is going to continue to increase in price. You want to see it come to an end, than boycott it!!! Protest and just don't take a ride down a street like the truckers did that was a joke with no results!! I understand that we have to go to work and we need gas to do that. Team up carpool and if you need to stop at the store do it on your way home. I work and I live 14 miles from my work. I put in $20.00 a week in gas and thats all they get from me. A truck driver told me that we need to block the entrances to the diesel pumps and the gas pumps. We are paying for the cost of all the wares we buy. Its not hurting the big companies they just past the cost of delivering their goods on to the consumer. So when you hear pain at the pump think pain on everything you purchase. Its going to take everyone whose sick and tired of paying these prices on everything not just gas to decide whether they want to continue to pay or take action. Buy only necessities, stop going to the mall, etc.
