CHARLESTON, W.Va (WSAZ) -- Power winds brought down a large tree on Charleston's East End Sunday afternoon, crushing a car and damaging a home.

It happened along Kanawha Boulevard.

No one was injured, but for those who live nearby they say the storm gave them quite a scare this afternoon.

We need to let the big coal companies tear down all the mountains to get rid of these dastardly trees. They are getting out of hand. One tried to grab me the other day in the park when I went for a jog.

This happened on the West Side not the East End. WSAZ needs to be a little more accurate.
